I need some help from my fellow Dodge owners or anyone who has installed a Pacbrake. I spent about six hours installing the whole Pacbrake set up on a 2001 6-speed. I was really proud of the install it went well but I work slow. Here's the problem, It doest work!! When I flip the switch I have power to the relay

but nothing happens. ( yes I know there is a 3 sec delay) I'm running the black wire as per instructions to the #20 pin in the ECM. and the red to the vacuum solenoid. I've checked all the vacuum line routing a dozen times, I can find nothing wrong I'am beginning to suspect a bad relay . All the ground wires that have to be attached are to bare metal. I give up ! HELP!!!!!:{

Does the brake work when you push the test button on the soleniod, if so double check your wire to the ECM it may not be making contact.

I have seen this happen once before.

Ditto on the ECM connection...

When I installed one recently, we played hell trying to get the thing to work properly. Turns out, the pin wasn't making a good connection on the ECM.

By God it works !!

I dropped the fuel filter again and checked the black wire that I put into pin #20.

I pushed and pulled on it over and over. Then where the relay is screwed to the firewall with the ground wire I took it off again and sanded down to bare metal for a good ground on the wire off the relay. And guess what, it WORKS ! One of the two things I did fixed it. Thanks for all your help and suggestions. Oo.

Ditto on the trained monkey ! What I feel bad about is that some of the posts said that they put the whole kit on in a couple of hours. A Nascar pit crew would be lucky, to have it on and working in two hours. It took me 5 to 6 hours and I re-made a lot of things like the wiring harness they sent along, so it would look neat and factory. :)
