I was going to do the no payment book thing but Chrylser offered me . 9% financing, which was too good to pass up.

Did the same thing with my wife's Explorer. A smart man & his money are hard to separate

Same thing with the wifes 99 Mazda 626.

We haven't seen a payment book since purchasing our 1993 Volvo. We decided in the mid 90's to get out of debt - paid off the house and cars and moved to a "cash only" basis. Not owing anyone for anything certainly gives us a lot more options in this era of economic uncertainty! Maybe this lifestyle isn't for everyone, but it works for us.
