I don't know if it is just cheap paint or what but I have all sorts of chips in my paint. Any good ideas on what to do about this for repairs. Should I get a touch up bottle and hope for the best? Does warranty cover this??

The paint problems you decribed seem to be pretty typical of 2nd generation trucks. Some trucks just simply have paint chip problems from rock chips, or the like, but there are quite a few trucks that suffer from what Dodge describes as "Paint Delamination". These is were the paint tends to peel, or suffer from dull spots that look as if the paint is gone and the primer is showing through. Some people, including myself have been successful in getting Dodge to help with the cost of the repair. If you are the original owner, and have a good relationship with your local Dodge dealer, you may be eligable for some sort of help if infact the paint is suffering from delamination. It's worth a trip to the Dodge deal to find out.
