No wonder you painted it!
I painted it because it got hit by a hailstorm & needed new doors/fenders anyways. ...
i like the new paint better. when you out the bumper on give us more pics!!
Almost there. At least you can drive it now.
Cummins724, Great thread, I've enjoyed following it. Thanks for posting all the pictures and taking the time. This was fun to watch. The truck & colors look EXCELLENT !!!!! Heck, the tires & rims came out looking good after some elbow grease, great job.
Regards, Mike.
Rain or shine it looks good! Thanks for the pictures i really enjoyed following this thread.
Its almost like owning a new truck i bet.
looks incredible. thanks too for your respose to cost. im thinking for myself it might be easier and look better if i let someone else do it. looking at this thread there is a lot more work then i have time for and still make it look like a true pro. thanks for the info and great looking truck.
It sure is alot of work, especially when you do it like I did. I could have just mounted the doors, fenders, bed & painted it. I decided that I wanted to take my time & do it right. Alot of extra time went into stripping the rockers to bare metal, coating the inner doors/fenders with bedliner etc. I could have just sanded & shot it in a week or two, but in the end I wouldn't be happy with the results. :-laf
Will have not said much just followed along. I just want to say it is members like yourself that make TDR. You did a fantastic job and you should be deservedly proud of you work. Very will done not only the post but pictures and commentary as well. Thanks.
Thank you sir. I sent a email to R. Patton. I'm hoping that TDR will consider my truck for the magazine [even a small pic, not a cover]. Crossing my fingers, but that would be very cool to see that.
Hey if Robin opens it up for a vote you got mine. I bet a whole lot of others too.
