Part # & color for 08 Dash paint

I need the color & part # for Mopars plastic paint for the gray dash in my 08. I have a autometer dash pod and bought the Light Taupe from Genos that matches the A-pillars, but now I'm thinking the contrast might be too much and and want to try matching the dash color. My local Dodge dealer didn't even know Mopar made such a thing and seems put-out trying to help me.

I have the same question, I ordered the Med gray/Mist gray from dieselmanor hope its close. mine is a 06

I worked at a jeep dealer and had the parts dudes look up the build sheet for my 06. the dash is Mist Gray. so your all good guys,

Am I to assume that the 08 gray dash is the same as the 06's?

i sure dont. i do know it is the same as the can you can get from genos. same paint code. when in doubt go to the dealer and have them pull the build sheet by vin..... D5 is the paint code for med slate gray. same as mist.

Thanks! My parts guy must have been in a better mood today, he looked up the color for me and would'nt ya know, same part #!! Should have mine tommorrow also.

just got my med slate (05134799AA) paint today an it dosen't match the dark grey of the top of the dash. It does, however, match the lighter gray of the top of the door panels perfectly! I guess the agate is the darker gray of the dash top? Any input would be great before i spend another $9. 00 on can of paint.

just checked it on a piece of paper and it looks good to me... ... ... ... as i use to say in the USAF... ..... close enought for government work... ... ... ... on mine the door panels and dash are the same... ... . just depends on the light.

ok so i went to the dealer again and we did more checking... ... ... ... . the D5 med slate is not used in the o6 trucks, only in duragos and dakotas... ..... so... ... ... . we think the system just lables it wrong. we think its Dark Slate Gray. so i have some on order i will let you know tomorrow night

FOLKS we have a match~ Dark Slate is the key! check out the pics for your self! adn dont mind the discoloring on the dash top. just detail/armoural type stuff that looks like crap on this... .....

Looks like a match to me too. I got impatient and painted mine med slate since the two look good together on the door panels. Still not too late to repaint though, haven't finished install yet (waiting for pin & socket connectors, should be here UPS today). I painted the face of mine a flat black with slight texture to match the factory guage panel, looks like a Dodge factory install! Thanks again for the part#!

The Med Gray/Mist Gray from dieselmanor matched perfectly for my dash. I like the idea of the flat black on the face, I may give that a try

I sprayed some "satin finish" clear urethane over mine. I'm hoping that will help maintain the color.
