passenger side front seat '96 3500

I would like any help with the latch on the front seat of my '96 3500. When I have had to brake had and no one is sitting in the seat it will fold forward and that of course alows the seat to slide forward. I'm raising my grandson and would like to put his carseat (rear facing) in the front seat as it does not have a passenger side airbag. The latch does not lock , is there a fix or a replacement latch from Dodge ? If not what year seats will bolt up to mine ? It has driverside adjustments only . Any help to any of the questions would be of great help as Ziggy , my grandson is now 30" and 21. 4 lbs. . Getting harder to lift him up to back- seat level as my '96 does not have any rear doors for easier acess . Again thanks, John
