Thanks, TDR Staff

I got ROOKED!

Anybody tried these?

How does the PDR HX35 compare to the Dodgezilla, or any other 35/40 hybrid?

Is the PDR 35 a true hybrid? It appears to have a 35 compressor side along with its 35 turbine side. Turbines aside (i. e. , the same 14cm turbine on each), how do the compressors compare for airflow? How about in a twin setup, with a large secondary? Again, turbines aside, any real difference?

The compressor side of the DZ uses a 62mm wheel, and the PDR 35 uses a 59mm (going from memory - I could be off a mm or so). The DZ will push more air, but it also takes more air to drive and has more inertia to overcome, thus it spools slower. You'd get a bit more top end with the DZ but sacrifice some bottom. The fellow at PDR that I talked to told me that they stopped at that size of wheel to keep the quick spoolup.

Hows this buy a DodgeZilla, if you don't like it return it for a refund. I had 1 returned under that deal. The guy ordered it and his wife/gf? returned it (still in unopened box).
