PDR Modified Stock Turbo

Asked my son what he thought and the VGT's have a speed sensor but its on the shaft not the compressor.



He thinks its probably a marine version with a speed sensor to keep from over reving the motor.

Well I hate to have to admit this, but this turbo is not from a Dodge application. The ebay seller thought it was, but was not sure. What also should have tipped me off is that is has the same exhaust elbow as a 305 engine- I assumed it had spent some life on a 305, possibly as an experiment. Hope I didn't cause too much consternation, but perhaps we all learned something, at least I did. I'll post some pictures of the exhaust housing tomorrow for anyones benefit.
