What % of list price do you pay using EFS?
It's a "No Brainer" if you travel or have a listed truck stop near your home. I saved .50 cent per gallon on my first time use. I read this morning that they have over 11.7K RV cards in use as of today.

Facebook page, "
TSD RV Fuel Program"
People list similar results all over the country.

There is also a phone app called "EFS Card" that works with the program. It will show you where the best discounts are based on your location and route.

If anyone here is considering getting the card, send me a PM before you do. They offer a referral discount.

@Cummins2014 sent me some info a few days ago. Since I run commercially.....this may be one of the few actual fuel discount cards that is legitimate with some actual, useful discounts.

I guess I’ll give it a shot soon.

Another thing the TSD Logistics Card offers is a $200 cash advance. If you only have one diesel fuel vehicle, let the card stay in that vehicle. If you were to lose or forget your wallet, you can get fuel and some cash to get you home.

Hey ,not fair, I started this EFS on here :D

Ya $25 is better then a kick in the rear .
An old-schoooool technician named Walt that worked under me back in my retail sales days at an auto repair center and major tire store asked me....

Walt—-“Brockman...do you know what 24 inches is?”
Me—-“Yeah.....two feet.”
Walt—-“No. That’s the difference between a pat on the back and a kick in the arse.”

He then lightly kicked me in the arse, and told me to stop BS’ing in the shop, so he could get back to work......this, after he yelled for me from across the opposite side of the shop.

There was a day you could give a guy an old fashioned old school arse chewing in the work place ,and all was well, and back to work . Those days are gone .

I’m sure it’s great if you’re on the road, away from home, but it doesn’t make sense for me. My local T/A has a posted price of $3.69. Less $.50 leaves $3.19. An equal distance from my home ,a local station is at $2.85. I average 50 gals a week between my truck and forwarder but 90% of my travel and work is within 50 miles of home. Thanks for the information just the same. I appreciate your effort.

If you wouldn't mind, would you tell me the state and town of that TA station. I can check the phone app and tell you exactly what fuel would cost in real time.

I checked the TA Truck Stop at 849 Victory Hwy. West, West Greenwich, RI. Using the card 8 minutes ago, would have cost $2.38 per gallon. So, if the posted price is $3.69, that would be a savings of $1.31 per gallon. TSD would get .13 for each gallon/10% and your final price would be $2.51 per gallon.

If you're paying $2.85 at another station for 50 gallons a week, that's a $884.00 a year savings at current prices. To be fair, I thought it was smoke and mirrors as well until I looked into it.

That's pretty substantial! I thought exactly the same thing that JH said, truck stops are always higher than the local yocals here. Often ¢.050+ per gallon more. Kinda negates the benefits of the card. Here's where things could turn for me. I've had fuel delivered to my house for years. The station that delivered has always had a small discount when delivering over 200 gallons.

This station recently closed up so I'm back to buying retail. Coincidentally I do have a large portable tank...this could be worthwhile.

TMyers if you don't mind can you check area code 44010. There is a TA and a Pilot there.

Thank you!

I periodically get calls from various companies hocking fuel cards since my DOT and MC is public. Typically....their savings have only been about $0.12 to $0.15 per gallon off list prices at any of the major chain truckstops. I have ALWAYS been able to easily beat those savings by simply using my noggin and buying at Mom & Pop places or, when I’m bobtailing, hit a Murphy, Kroger fuel, or the like.

This ESF Fuel Card should be a good deal.

For those of you curious.....I’m attaching a recent screenshot regarding fuel purchases on White Lightning since purchase date.....19,340 gallons and $53,674.25

According to Gas Buddy Loves is showing $2.98 pump price. I just filled up 2 days ago at $2.80 at a local station.
With the 10% fee that's still around ¢.50 per gallon savings using the card at Loves (rough math). BUT it does not always pencil out that way. A lot of times there is more of a delta between local and truck stops. But as long as there is no fee involved aside from the 10% at the pump it's still all in all a fair deal. Use it if it makes sense, don't if it don't.

Thank you TMyers.

That’s the T/A. I was speaking of. I know all truck stops post higher than average prices because of discounts available through trucking company lease arrangements but I wouldn’t have thought the margins could be that high. I’ll surely look into the card, and thank you very much for making the extra effort on my behalf.

I have a card coming...been using the Pilot/Flying J card for years. It is nice pulling a 38' 5th wheel to be able to use the truck lanes and to get DEF at the pump. This card will open up more options on my long road trips....just what I needed.

But you are getting a “discount” on a already much higher price, so you are basically paying regular fuel price. I just looked at pilot on GasBuddy, Milford, CT Citgo one block away is $2.89 for diesel vs. pilot at $3.61!!!
