In some cases, though, the issue is access to pumps when pulling a 40'+ trailer.

I have a shorter trailer, but station access is part of the reason I’m going to put a Titan tank in this spring. The small out of the way towns I end up fueling in are harder to get in/out of and much higher priced.

Why it took Ram so long to add a bigger tank is baffling. They should have done it with the frame upgrade in 2013.

Well I guess that settles it , the ERS card is the way to go. Sure disappointed 12V had no comment , but then he is the wealthy one here :D

I just use gas buddy when I’m on the road, find the best price. Takes a little bit of planning but I usually don’t run it down to fumes.

Well, things have certainly changed at the truck stops that I seen on a quick trip to Cheyenne , Wy. Diesel prices were not that much different then the regular gas stations. Using my ERS card at Pilot the price was $1.66 .
Pump price was 2.48. I didn't see any diesel prices anywhere in Wyoming or Utah that is under $2.00, lowest I saw was 2.32 at a regular gas station , so 2.48 at a truck stop is not far off the pace . Anyway if someone thinks this ERS card is not what it seems ,I got news for them .

Two fuel stops in Wyoming at a Pilot Truck Stop, pump price 2.48 at both . $1.66 for me at both . first fill up 18.7 gallons discount $13.57 Second fill up 22.8 gallons discount 17.95. 31.52 total savings in two fill ups. Not bad . Probably in reality more in the neighborhood of a little less considering the difference in price that I saw between $2.32 , and $2.48 is $.16, but they don't honor the fuel cards ,so its a mute point. Regardless if these truck stops are a bit more ,the savings are there . This post was just for the skeptics, the ones that have the card know the reality :D

Good to know they are still working at the Pilot stations. I saw an article saying Pilot would not be honoring the cards anymore due to an agreement on fuel prices with Sam's Club (I think).

I have used mine once to top off my home tank.

After a little further looking it is Loves ,and Flying J . Flying J as said does not show up on my app when looking for prices, and Loves still does. I'm thinking Flying J chose to stick with the Good Sam discount ,and Loves did not. Correction for my previous posts EFS ,not ERS, my bad:(
