Honda 300 4X4 help.

Makes ya go Hmmmmmmmmm...

People sure can be a bunch of idiots!

Took a drive today on a beautifull Sunday today 50 miles to Costco in Santa Maria Ca.

I should have known better but Sunday was the only day we could go. The place was packed... People stand in the middle of the aisle with their finger up "you know where!". You have to get bogus just to get them to move so you can get by them!

Going home the idiots on the road, in the fast lane, going 60 mph!

About 10 miles from our house, I see this new mini-van going along with his four-ways on all over the road. I tell my wife and girls, "I'll bet He is on a cell phone!". Guess what... He was... clueless to the rest of the world.

The nicest thing (I'm sure alot of you can relate), was to find a clear spot on the freeway and feel the "Freight train effect" of opening up the Cummins:D .

I have an appointment with Bill Kondolay on the 28th of April to get my trans BOMBEDOo. . I am going to slip in a set of DDIIs also.

I feel better now!:) Chris

I know what you mean about Costco. We try to be there when they open, or on a weekday, to avoid the aisle standers. I think your experience at Costco set the precedence for the rest of the day. I notice you didn't mind the drive to Costco, just the drive home again :)

In response to Motorhead's post

I've GOT to fix my horn. Just needs a realy and wires going to the horn itself. Anyway, I was making a left turn onto Powers Blvd this morning, with two left turn lanes. I guess maybe I should have gone to the right lane, but going from 2 turn to 3 striaght leaves a grey area for soome people. I was taught the far left lane turns into the far left straight lane; next laft lane turns into the next straight lane. Anyway, I 'bout got my front bumper taken off by Aunt Jemima in a 80-something Chrysler, as I was turning from the right-hand left turn lane into the center straight lane; she decided to turn into the same lane. Fortuantely, I wasnt in the 92 I just sold, I would have hit her with the brakes in it. Anyway, she just gave me a look like "what the heck you doin', boy?, this is MY lane. " I let her know she was #1 on my list for the next 3 minutes or so. HOW do these idiots get their licenses? Oh yeah, they just drive you around the block, and if you dont total the vehicle, you pass. And people wonder why I want a full size pickup? Geesh. it IS the norm these days. ANd not just cities. The town I grew up in- Poplar Bluff, MO pop 16000- has some of the WORST driver I have EVER encountered, though Chicago surpassed them by a hair.

LOOKING FORWARD TO YOUR VISIT

Chris, Don't forget all the tools we need for my gauge installs. Also, the piggy back fuse connectors, spare tire lock, and the gauges. And, in your spare time, if you can swing that camper shell deal, I'd be owing you some real change $$ It's a good thing I can tease you about all this. Otherwise, you might decide to just drive straight up to DTT and bypass Seattle altogether. :p

And you thought this was gonna be some kind of vacation as you visited us here in Seattle. Oo. . You know we'll have a couple of days to twist wrenches and just catch up on time that has gone bye. My wife and kids are looking forward to your visit too. The room downstairs has your name on it.

Drive sane through Oregon and Washington. Both of these states are short on income revenues, and would love to take a Californian for a $$ fat speeding ticket $$:--)

:D :D :D :D :D Jim
