Competition White FURY unleashed at Scheids

Competition Scheid Drags

Well first I want to thank Adam for being the designated pilot, Gary for pit crewing, BBD/Scott

for catching some stills and videos of the fun. Special thanks to Chris Sutton for his help as well.

Tonight we took the "Rocket" into the low 12's. Our best previously was the 12. 8 in Vegas during

the May Madness event. Ever since we took the Joe Donnelly oath of "Just Say No To Drugs" we have not touched the Nos bottle or the propane. We are clean and drug free and runnin' 12. 4 ET's. This is a milestone for the 24v engine.

We also did an abbreviated dyno run today. The truck did 460 hp on the motor without the Edge Comp on. Last time we dyno tested we recorded 200 hp with the comp box on. This should mean we are in the mid 600 hp range with just #2Oo. In May we just crept over the 600 hp line at 601.

It should also be noted that the Performance Diesel turbos are runnin' 84 psi now which may require we turn the boost down a bit:{

I'd like to think that the 24 engine has arrived.

It has been my goal to get to the point where we can compete with the tried and true 12v motors.

Adam says it's a little weird but the rush and the horsepower is there.

Good Job to everyone involved.

600hp that runs on the strip has to be a helluva rush.

So when do we get to see the videos??Oo. Oo. Oo.

Gotta do something to pass thetime here at work. ;)

Congrat's Mr. Nowel. That cooky guy out East is going to have to turn up the bottle to keep us #2 only guys out of his back pocket! So who'll make the 12. 3's first? Back to the garage!

guys . . Nowel is sand bagg'in. . this is a 11 second truck. . he is just to cheep to put in a roll cage LOL

lots of trial and oops needed to see the 11 though. . it need a sevier DIET just like Nowel and I do hehe. .

good to see the damnn boots hold long enough to get it through the traps though

12.4!!!!!!!!!

Nowel..... congrats bro..... like to see it run in Spokane on the 6th or in Salt Lake on the 13th... Prehaps those twins aren't so bad after all???lol

Steve

anybody got a parachute we can strap on to the back of the red rocket????---with all the fist waving and head banging lately it's good to see her get down the track, just like willyslover stated ---once the go-go juice gets applied and dialed in--watch out---congrats-----chris

2-WHEEL DRIVE'S RULE

RIght on Big Daddy Nowel... . awesome, were did u run? Sears? A set of Jim's slicks, and a line lock to launch at 15psi and i'd be mid 13's... . but no... :{ oh well... 14 ain't bad for an old 160 pump:D

Diesel Draggin'

Thanks to any and all that voiced their appreciation.

Further data, 60' times are in the 1. 8's, 1/8 mile is in the high 7 seconds. We are spinning the tires coming off the line which is a problem I intend to work on.

Greg, we were at Sears Point Raceway. I expect to

be their next wed as well.

Thanks

Thanks for the tip of the hat Mr. Muscle and Kat Diesel.

Adam figures we are good for low 11 second times with the Nos:cool: I don't want to install a cage though:(

I'm going to take the propane tank off to save some weight. Might try running without the tailgate too.

Hey! Anybody think we can launch in second gear??? First is a waste of time at the moment. Plus the tires are slipping. I'm afraid

we might break something:{

Big Bob, I am thinking about driving up to Spokane for the racing. We'll see;)
