drool, drool,, after I recover from my Clutch replacement and install,, I'll be waiting for a PDR Super HX-40 or how does KWIKKURTS B1 turbo, or the KWIKSPOOL HX-40 compare to PDR devopments.



Anybody gonna do comparison tests?

I want to know what is best for 450 hp and 4500 ft elevation. I am getting no responce from Kurt about the B1, and I will be getting a new turbo in three months. I am getting a bit frusterated trying to find the right turbo for my truck. Come on, let us in on the turbo info. I guess that they don't want to sell any.

If you were referring to Piers, and assuming their is such a thing, I am sure he will sell plenty. When they are ready of course.

Are you refering no response... . as in email? Or have you called him (Kurt)??? He has stated somewhere in another thread that his computer is down and in the shop. I got a few of his emails that he sent me back on Nov 29th..... they showed up on Dec 10th.



Call him.



Also I know he went to NV for the weekend... ... . not sure when he left but I know he went.

I live in the very frozen salt lake city utah. High altitude is a *****. I hate living here in the winter. I don't think that I want an hx-40 because they are so fragile. Kurt's B1 looks like the ticket if it can spool up fast enough and not choke the top end. I just can't get any info on it and don't know Kurt's number so I can't call him.

Not sure when he is returning from NV. I am getting a B1 soon as its ready to ship, but I don't live at altitude so I can't help with the comparision.



Might talk to Kurt about testing his KwikSpool II out... some modifications he has ideas on to make it more durable. , he wanted me too but hes more interested in what I can do with his B1, its got a bigger shaft then the H2E. So far I am the only one that blew one up other then Kurt himself.

No as far as I know this is just a HX-40 that came stock on a 5. 9L. It has a 16 CM2 housing and the 4" outlet. I am hoping that it will be here today...



CAnderson, Yes I know Ken Jones. I am hoping to Dyno between Christams and New Years. I'll let you know when and maybe we can hook up then.

Michael, sound like your a little out of touch. Fixed geometry a HX40W, modified as in the PDR35 or the Kwikspool 40. Variable=HX40V model which is the VGT

Well I was up late last night installing it. With the little I have driven it all I can say is it is GREAT!!!!!!!!!!! The isn't any lag at all and it build boost alot faster even at part throttle.

Smoke

Well this turbo has now changed the color of the smoke my truck produces. From Black to white = Tire Smoke



I just got back from another test drive and was able to find a fairly dry road this beast smoked the tires in 4th bad. I just presssed the throttle slowly to the floor and at about 1400 RPMs it came alive and the tire went up in smoke.





The BFGs are hating life but I'm luving it.
