i had the custom color powder coating done locally.

prior to adding the twins i was running piers PDRHX40 ,drag comp and bullydog 6's.

with the single hx40 the pyro pegged 1600 before half throttle.

with the twins and drag comp on 5-5 at WOT the max egt i've seen is 1250

i have the twins gated at 65 psi.

they added 78 rwhp and 116 ft lbs of torque(which falls in the average of 60 to 90 rwhp gain that piers told me they would do).

they are a very streetable smooth setup with little to none lag and are at 60 lbs boost before 1/3 of throttle mashing.

i should have got them a long time ago !!

i have an o-ringed head,,12mm arp studs and a 10,000ths over 12 valve marine head gasket.

Can't see the cold pipe. You might want to brighten it up a little. ;)

That has to be one of the best looking turbo systems I've seen so far. Glad to hear they work as well as they look.

Nice to see you have them together and going and have to looks to boot, I really like that powder coat job... ... looks much better than my gloss black.

Don's setup is one of the nicest sets I have seen. The guys that did the powdercoating did a great job... ... Very nice!

Doug

Very Nice...

Hey Don...

Very Very nice looking setup...

I saw those dyno numbers and knew you had something new under that hood... ;)

Once again, NICE job...

thanks for the compliments :D

andy,,i'm headed back to kauffmans next week to re-dyno. i have a package due here friday that "should" add a few more ponies.

hopefully i will have my water/meth system trouble shooted by then too.

running a 50/50 mix made a big "0" hp

seat of the pants gain was very impressive running the single pdrhx40.

not even noticable with the twins.

**nice set of bully dog 6's for sale **

dockboy,,

most likely will be stripping the powder coat under the boot connections.

gitchesum,,

cold pipe is neon yellow just like the rest. just hidden under all the other piping

Iceman, great looking setup. Who did the piping between the turbos and the piping to the air filter? Is is metal?

Thanks,

Jim

jim,,i am getting ready to look into water/meth problem as soon as i get off here. the kit is installed exactly to snows instructions and did very well with the single turbo. what boost pressure do you have yours set to spray at ??

i had it coming on at 20psi boost with the single turbo and pump turned up to 220 psi. ,,may just need a minor adjustment. i'm not getting excited about it,,i'll check it out and then call matt.

jcarey,,

piping is part of piers twin kit. and yea,,,it's metal !!!

HIGH TECH POWDER COATING in boonsboro md did the neon yellow on the piping. they came with grey powder coat,,,blaaahhh !!!

0 hp gain with water/meth issue solved. no flow =no gain

started at nozzles to check for fluid flow using a regulated air flow to activate the water/meth controller. pump was coming on but still no flow

i pulled the pump for bench testing using a gallon jug of water as the tank.

pump would still run when connected to 12 volts but still no flow.

there is an electric valve(pic below) that comes with the 8 gallon tank that gets installed between the tank and pump and opens when the water pump is activated by the controller. it was clicking but not opening so no liquid could reach the pump. called matt and he is sending me a new valve. it needs to be in line with the 8 gallon tank. if the height of the tank would get higher than the nozzles in the intake horn(going down hill etc) it is possible the liquid could gravity feed the nozzles

without the valve in line she is pumping water now !!! see !!

Now that got me thinking... ... I mounted my electric valve right before the nozzles! My tank (10 gal. ) is in the bed with the pump mounted on the frame rail, not far from the tank. I have the one way checkvalve between the tank and pump, then the line runs all the way up to electric valve then to the nozzles. My thoughts were that the pump would never be without water when turned on and, that the electric valve would keep the water from going into the nozzles when not wanted. Is this wrong way to do this??

BTW nice setup ICEMAN, I'm jealous!
