Piers Turbo Boost Gauge Fitting ...

Okay, going to do the gauge install this week - I got the Piers Turbo Boost Gauge Fitting - Do I need any type of sealant? If so, what kind?

I don't think I put any on mine. It's not like an oil or fuel fitting. I doubt you could lose enough air through the boost fitting leaks (preventable by sealant) to cause enough difference to measure.

I just spoke to Geno's about this last week when I did my install. They said no sealant of any type.

didn't use any on mine, either. No leaks and going strong.

Careful w/ the torque you put on that. It is hollow and wont take too much before it rings off. I think I tightened mine too tight b/c it felt like it started to give, so I stopped turning. So far so good.
