2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission Plastic Side Trim Replacement

I am sprucing up my 97 3500, and the plastic beltline triim looks pretty shabby on one side (the chrome plastic is ugly). Has anyone replaced this trim and would like to share cost and availability of the trim along with installation tips? I think it is just stuck on with double sided tape, right?

Yep... stuck on. Personally I don't like the looks of it. I've taken it off of a few, if it hasn't been painted around at one time or another I feel it looks better off. Either way it usually comes off pretty easily, and NAPA has a wheel that looks like a giant eraser you can put on your drill and it peels the adheasive right off. Doesn't damage the paint either, real slick.
