Attention: TDR Forum Junkies TMass if you don't like this thread I have a solution for you DON'T read it 
stay away from something that pains you so much. And for everyone else I told you he could not stay away! I and many others knew this was for attention and drama so if Gary stay's or goes than comes back again and than goes away again Who really cares anymore? not I. Ask yourself this if he really left why did he show up again in the middle of the mess he started? WHY because he needed to add more fuel to the fire he alone started Saying things like he had to endure "eratic and abuseive behaviour" Where and when did this happen? why did you not report it to the moderators for review and possible action ? Gary even states in his self serving post that he will return after he "recharges his batteries" . So why not just take a break don't post anymore and come back when he was ready and rested. This drama was unneeded and very selfish on gary's part. So what have we all learned in this drama that Gary created. 1. not everyone Loved Gary as Gary thought he should be loved. 2. Some of our members don't like some of our younger Members! 3. At leist one of our members (or now a former 
members) likes to start threads that cause discontent among the general membership. 4. one of our members wants to impose his will on us all when something he reads offends him I think the call that censorship. What happened to left clicking the button in all posts for Moderator review? Why make your discomfort so public? I think the moderators did a good job on this thread. 5. Gary did not like the fact that the editorial board that makes the turbo diesel register magazine has kept up with the times and moved on and included the new 3rd generation trucks. I think they have done a fine job with the magazine and kept the fine balancing act between 1st 2nd and 3rd gen trucks. Good job TDR staff. Oo. 
To take it a little farther I wonder how the 1st gen people felt when info on 1st gen trucks gave way to 2nd gen trucks? and 12valve gave way to 24 valve? most likely like the 3rd gen members will feel when they have to give way to the forth gen trucks. And on and on progress goes. Gary has stated he was forced to deal with crude and distastful guys(fellow tdr members) in post after post well dang Gary if your fellow members are so "Crude and distastful" why did you stay so long? Sorry we all just could not measure up to your perfection. :co But when you come back you will be welcomed back like a returning hero by some and the rest won't even notice you were gone. I guess it's all in what's important to you as a Member. Most of the members of the TDR did not even bother to comment on this topic because most just don't care if Gary stays or goes. so Gary good luck with your new web sites I really mean it and I will be waiting with baded breath for your return to this fine web site and I will wonder how you will top this :-{} smooth exit you planned so well you should have been a drama coach! because you sure know how to stir the pot and cause feelings both good and bad to surface. see ya :-laf Tod

, I think you were referencing to me. (Now that I said that, my day can go on. :-laf) I could say the same thing, if you can't say anything good don't say anything, but i'm not going to, because obviously this forum doesn't go by those rules. 
as for gary being a bad guy I do not see him as such BUT why start all of this mess?WHY! 
Gary is a attention getter some people just are. Reread some his posts and you too shall see why some of here don't care if he is gone or not. Read about wax or oil filters those are good examples about what we are talking about he was right everybody else was wrong! I guess it was his attude that rubbed people wrong argue about topics that most people would have dropped. When a Man Says he is leaving and than comes back again after he left??just to throw more gas on the fire and keep this thread going . It made me look back at why some do not like him. Some state he is a insecure person I really don't know or care. All I care to say is GOODBYE GARY you really ain't worth all this hyperbole. :-{}
Too bad for you. I never new I had a Ego until I saw your post. Let me tell you something about me since you think you know me so well to insult me. I just don't care what anybody thinks about me. Some people like me more than others some do not like me at all. That's the way of life. As for my Ego It's none of your business sir. As for the comment by texas diesel That is his own opinion if you do not like it take it up with him! TMaas I thought you wanted this whole thread locked? It did not happen so why single me out I am not the only poster here. Get a life sir. If you do not like what I post give a counter argument not personal insult like "Am I going to be the next gary" just what the hell does that mean anyway? Their is only 1 Gary no one could ever be like Gary thank goodness. TMaas you have a problem and it's not with me.
