Does anybody know the answer to this riddle? I have a Pioneer full size Chrysler/GM dash opening CD player. It was previously working great in my 2000 truck, which was fractory equipped with the standard AM/FM cassette. I put it in my new truck, which comes with the CD player and Infinity speaker system, and the unit will play a CD fine, but I get no sound. The harness is the same as my 2000 and plugged right in just like before, but now no sound. I started wondering if it has anything to do with the seperate amplifiers in the doors? The Pioneer unit is 22w X 4 RMS. Is it conflicting somehow with the factory amps? If it makes any difference, the Pioneer has a seperate subwoofer preamp out with it's own selectable crossover built in (which is the only reason I'm hooking it up in the first place, I just want to add my amp and subwoofers the the existing door speakers. ) Yes I am aware I could do it with the speaker level inputs on the amp and buy a seperate crossover, but I would really like to just rig it up the way I had it before. Thanks for any ideas you might have.
