I'm suprised they let him plow with a leased vehicle.
Friend of mine leased a Jeep 4x4 so that he can go on the beach fishing. He later found out that he couldnt do it because of the lease. I'm not certain if it's a clause in the lease, or the insurance co that will not let him do it.
Rednut, you should also conider having the trans internals modified. I dont know if a torque converter alone will help you.
Lsmith,I dont remember where I saw it (might even be in this thread?) but I read somewhere that you have to put 600 lbs of weight behind the rear wheels on these trucks.

A comment on the Lexan blades. When I was shopping for a blade at the local BOSS dealer I considered the Lexan blade. The salesman told me the weight was very close to the weight of the steel blade. If I remember correctly I think he said 50lbs. To me the Lexan is nice because of the no rust issue, but the brackets and cutting edge will still rust and wear out the same. Supposedly the wet snow sticks less to the Lexan, but from what I've seen around, this hasn't been the case
