I have a Westach Fuel Pressure gauge ordered from Geno's. It is back ordered, but I wanted to get my plumbing in hand so that when it comes, I will be ready to go.....

I want to use a braided hose, like Earl's or Aeroquip. I am going to tap in at the Post Filter Banjo with a Ray T's tapped Banjo. The outlet on it is an 1/8" pipe so I got it covered. Here are my questions... .

1. Should I use -4an hose or -6an hose?

2. Does the westach sender have a 1/8" HOLE or NIPPLE:rolleyes: on it?

Thanks for the help... .

Also, where have you guys been mounting the sender? If anybody has any pictures of there sender mounted, try to post them here... .

Thanks for the help!!!!

Later,

So far I have done 3 of them and no problems so far. I mount the sending unit with a pair of plastic ties to the wire budle up on the firewall, no vibration. I am waiting on my 0-30# gauge, if you run a pusher pump the 0-16# will not work. I also will use -4an SS line to my sending unit. Sam

KISS method, Get a grease gun hose 18" or 24" and a 1/8" npt collar and your done. The hose is way overrated at 3000psi but that will have you covered when you reeally get to BOMBing:D :D . Another option is to get some 3/16" or 1/4" black nylon air tubing and the appropriate brass fittings. :)
