Poll - Color of your truck

Ok,



I was just curious, seems to me I see alot more white Dodges around this area than any other color, so I figured I start a poll to get an overall feel for what color is bought the most.



Now I am using regular old color names, so if your truck is sienna pearl blah, blah blah, just check maroon, its close enough.



And since I couldn't think of every color, I apologize ahead of time if your color is not mentioned (please use "other" and list your color in your message).

My 01 is White



My 97 was Dark Chestnut (wish they still had that color)



My 95 was Forest Green



My 93 was Blue over Silver



The only one I ordered was the 97, the others I took what was available. White wouldn't have been my first choice, but patient I'm not!

I swear in New England all DC delivered was dark blue. I see WAY too many!

Kevin is right the NE got a huge number of blue trucks. Both the Patriot Blue and the Intense Blue(my least favorite color). When I bought my first truck a gasser all but one of the trucks avalible in NY, PA, CT, MA, NH, VT and ME were intense blue. I would say that in the western states I saw 2 white trucks for every one of a different color. White just stays so much cooler.

Just fer the record, mine is Green, but not just any green, its the Forest Green Metalic Pearlcoat, not that Emerald Green, yuk!



MJawsman, did you have you '95 painted? Forest Green wasn't an option 'till '99, before that it was the "other" green.

My truck is Intense Blue, DC must have sent them all North because Intense Blue is a rare color around these parts. I was thinking of trading this fall but DC dropped Intense Blue so I'll stay with my 99.



An Intense blue 3500 quadcab longbed 4x4 would shure look good in that new body style.



Ted, you should se my pole barn everthing in it matches my truck. My ATV, my tool box, my bike, even my workbench will soon be blue.

It seems like Texas=white trucks. I bought my truck while I was still in Louisiana but it came from Texas. I really didn't want a white truck but after going several months without washing it and having it look fairly clean, I think I like it.

Both of mine are Driftwood, best color ever made. But I only got to vote for other once.

Snow white with black side molding and trim. It just don't get no purtier than that. Then I saw the mag wheels and 265's. I couldn't leave the lot without it. But I had to leave my black w/driftwood centerband 98. But I left a white with grey centerband '95 for the black one. Good thing they aren't females.

I got a white one because that was the only color they had on the lot equipped the way I wanted - I *might* have bought another color if available, but I don't really have anything against white - looks cleaner longer, cooler in our warm climate - and a white vehicle is like a clean canvas or piece of paper - what you can DO to it to make it stand out is limited only by your imagination!

Bright Silver Metallic on mine-I love that color! However-if the 2002 colors had been available at the time I ordered my 2001 I would have had a hard time choosing between the silver and the gold that's offered for 2002 (Light Almond I think they call it?). I also like the charcoal color they have for 2002-but it's way too dark IMO for a work truck-shows every scratch and ding. Mind you I liked Amber Fire-if it had still been available at the time of my order I would have obsessed for a while longer over color choice .



Only downside I can see to my choice of silver is that every 2nd truck up here seems to be the same color-so I have to keep adding chrome to my truck to make it stand out in the parking lots!

"Intense Blue"

I was going to order a black Sport, but an Intense Blue one popped up on the lot and I couldn't pass up the deal. Since then, I've had alot of compliments on the color and I have grown to like it. It's too bad they decided to drop the color because I would buy it again.

I haven't seen very many of this color down my way.

Good thing is,,,,, It matches the new Cougar 5er we bought real good!
