Went to the dealer to have them look at my injectors and possible knock sound and run the scan tool on things. here's what I got.
The test was "cylinder balence test"
Injector #1 93%
Injectoir #3 97%
The rest of the injectors were at 103-105%.
Well, I'm worried about 1 and 3, are these numbers low? are they with in "acceptable" what's the deal with the injectors that are over 100%? assuming that are compasating for the decrease with 1 and 3.
Also, with the ODB box we ran a rail pressure test, kick her up to 20,000 PSI, idle went up to 1220 instantly. . That's cool. So at idle, it's 7000psi, with X an X for timing and duraction, then just add 13,000 more linepressure is enought to idle at 1,220
. This looked good
And for cylinder kill test, things were normal for that. no codes or issues.
So I'm assuming the extra "noise" I head is the 2 injectors not at 100%.
What should I do next? I was told the mechanic (who is bad *** BTW) was going to call the DC and ask them about thoses numbers. Anyone have any numbers I can call that I can be proactive about and look into these things my self?
BTW, as a note, The edge juice with attitude was conneted, but in the stock setting when we did all tests.
