What did you get for Christmas

air compressor-vertical or horizontal

Picture this:

4 lane road, on the right is a large cemetery with a road running down the middle. Next to the road is a sign with an arrow pointing down the road. The sign reads:

Peoples body shop……

Wish I had a picture of it... .

Some where in the smokies on the NC TN border I recall one said something along the lines of 316 Turns Next Eleven Miles give or take a few curves.

That should be the road that leads from Asheville to the Cherokee Indian Reservation. It's called the Blue Ridge parkway. Unless there is another sign out there in hillbilly land like that one... LOL...

Hope that it was the title in the newspaper too. Cell phones are one of my biggest gripes about drivers.

They can't drive properly anyways, let alone with that thing glued to their face. Sometimes you just want to get out and slap some sense into them.

My sister is really bad about it. Usually chew her out almost every time I ride with her. She just HAS to check her messages or call a request for a song to a radio station.

I've taken it out of her hand before because she wasn't paying attention and almost drove off the road. :--)

If I can help it, I'll wait to stop first.

So how about those pics I showed you. 3- C130s flying low,dropping cargo chutes out over our heads ,someone was in the wrong place:-{}

When the wind is out of the right direction, they can get pretty low. :D

There's another pic of the sign on the other side of the road in my photo album. It's kind of far away, so it didnt come out too good.

I saw a motorhome last week headed north on I-495 here in MA... ...

On the back of it in ~4" vinyl letters was the following:

A Streetcar Named Retire

That was good for a few hundred feet worth of laughter on the AM commute... . :D

There's a company around here that makes concrete conduit (the stuff that about 6 feet in diameter and weights, ... a bunch). They have several signs on the fence around the storage lots where they have these conduits that say "Hard Hat Area". I'm trying to figure out how a hard hat is going to help.

Signs

I think my favorite sign is on the interstate that says "Do not drive in median". Yes, after hours of driving on a smooth road I think to myself this sucks and what to take a spin out in the median. Another funny one is my dad told years ago when he was working on the farm lying metal irrigation pipe and the little gates on the pipe said "Close when not in use" :D :D :D :D :-laf :-laf :-laf :-laf

There was a sign on a parts room door where I used to work that said "This door to remain locked during business hours".

My wife and I always get a kick out out the " don't drive in the median " signs on our regular trips from Missouri to Florida. We call them " Don't drive through the deep tree lined ditch full of water " signs as that is what is usually seen at the places where the signs are. :D

They need to put some of those median signs around Boston. these Morons will try to drive on the guard rails if it would get them one car length ahead. My trip last week to Cortez, Colorado really impressed upon me how arrogant and retarded the drivers in the north east are.
