I originally bought a VanAaken CPC (VA) for my 99, but found that it smoked a bit too much for my liking. After reading many posts here, I decided a product from Edge would be a better choice for the smoke problem so I traded my VA (a week old) for a Power Edge last night and had it installed. I noticed that the smoking problem dissapeared and with the boost elbow installed, the turbo sounds quite a bit different then it used to. On the way home I selected power level 3 and floored it... . the thing just scoots! But, now the clutch is slipping. I backed it off to Level 2 and hooked my trailer up for a drive around town. Same thing - when I get on it, the clutch slips... . I called Edge, and they suggested I swap it for an EZ. I'm curious of what this is doing to engine??? 30+ psi boost versus 20psi is quite a bit! Also, should I swap the Power Edge for an EZ??? I'm kinda fond of my clutch and dont really want to change it anytime soon. I'm running it at level 1 now and the clutch seems to be holding.
