I'm contemplating either a power edge or an ez. I've seen the recent posts regarding the ez. How do the two compare? I'm also installing a 4" pipe turbo back, and 275 injectors or perhaps DDII's.

The PE will add about 100 horse at the push of a button via more fuel. The EZ will advance the timing and add more fuel in as well.

The PE will deliver more fuel only. The EZ advances fuel injection timing which is purposely retarded at the factory for emision and power purposes. I highly recomend the EZ as a first time mod, or your only mod.

If you wait, I think they (EDGE) are putting a box togather that is a PE and EZ all in one. Good luck.

Do both the PE and EZ have boost modules? I can only get ~17 lbs stock.
Thanks for the help and info.

Yes the both the EZ and PE have boost mods. With the ETH 6sd I would recomend the EZ as the first mod. If you go with the PE on the ETH you may be in line for a clutch. The EZ has proven to be a good add on that doesn't require transmission mods, exhaust mods, or guages.

I would be hesitant to do any mod without at least buying an EGT gauge. The ETH had problems with high EGT anyway from what I am reading here. Get your EGT close to the melting temp of the pistions, see it on the gauge, let off and figure "I just paid for that gauge!" Plus a boost gauge will let you know when you blow off thE rubber intercooler hoses.
