My buddy just bought a 2001 Cummins HO 6 speed 4x4 with 15,000 original miles. We've changed all the filters. Fuel Filter was pretty nasty and air filter had been chewed by mice on the dirty side but hadn't got through the filter.
Yesterday he call then takes me for a ride saying with a bobcat behind him he has no power after 2200 RPM's. Up until then the power is good. When I drove it the power didn't impress me much but I've gotten used to my fairly bombed truck. We tried everything I could think of last night so I figured I'd ask the experts.
There are no aftermarket gauges in the truck so I can't say what boost or fuel pressure is doing. However he is looking for a Juice/Attitude so maybe this is a good excuse to hurry the purchase. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
