I recently had installed in my truck a full Banks Power pack. I have noticed an increased amount of power, but I wouldn't say that it is significant. Is it because my automatic transmission eats the majority of that power with its inherent inefficiency ? and after having it installed (an exhaust brake to) the pedal pressure required to move the pedal is allot more than stock.
Has anyone else expereienced this problem ? If I were to replace the torque converter would I see a big increase in noticable power ? How do I know that the system is producing the power that it should ? What should my boost gauge read under a full load, what does it read if it is in a stock configuration.
and lastly... . My banks exhaust break stopped working recently. The light on the switch lights up but the break does not engage. I'm thinking it is a vaccum problem, anybody have any suggestions as to how to troubleshoot the problem ?
Thanks all for your help.
