2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission Power train lubes ?

Its time to change out all my drive train lubes, Front/rear difs, Trans and Xfer case. What are good non mopar lubes to use in Alaska. also I would like to pull the covers off the differentials and clean them ot good tather than just pump the juice out and refill them. Do I need gaskets frt the covers or just some kind of sealer or both. I went to Napa yesterday and asked them about Fluids and gaskets and just got a blank stare. They recommended I call the dealership.

I don't think gaskets are available for the dana's. I have changed out the fluids several times and have never been able to find a gasket. I clean the surfaces real good and use an RTV gasket maker and have not had a problem. As for lubes I would suggest a synthetic of your choice. I've been using Amsoil for years and haven't had any problems.

I'll second Amsoil. I have done a full Amsoil switch on my truck and have seen just over a 1mpg increase.
