You should have a sticker on the drivers door that’s specific to your truck.

It will be right around 4K total thou.

My 19.5’s were 4,500 a tire/wheel.

Oh and it seems that the 19.5 rims out there are about 4K so on the face of it doesnt seem like much if any improvement. Are they under rated

Every 19.5 setup I’ve looked at is around 4,500 lbs for the wheels and tires depends on the size. The commonly used 245/70R19.5 is usually around 4500lbs.

Yes the sticker is based on OE tire size and load rating, but it’s a good starting point. Plan on being able to add 1500-2000lbs to that number with good loading of the rear axle and 19.5’s.

Under no circumstances would I consider the OEM setup “not great”. A OEM 7K SRW rear axle is pretty impressive and why I was able to sell my 19.5 setup. Maybe a DRW is what you need to be able to call it great.

So i hear the single and double rear wheel have the same rating and is 11k. Its the rim and tire difference. So going to 19.5 with a tire rates at least 4500 may be enough

The dually has two additional overload springs above the main spring pack. Just traded in my 2020 3500 SRW for a 2022 3500 DRW.

Unless it has auto-level, then SRW and DRW suspensions are identical.

They are not. Both have a lower overload spring, and the main spring pack. Those look the same. The dually has two upper overload springs that the SRW doesn't have. And neither my 2020 or my 2022 have air leveling.

Auto-Level are identical SRW and DRW, that’s all I said.
None of the auto-levels have upper overloads.
