Bob, there's been alot of discussion on this. The question you should ask yourself is whether you plan on any HP enhancements or will remain stock. If you are staying stock, post turbo will be okay for you. If you are going to bomb that Cummins, then you need to place the sensor pre-turbo to accurately monitor the gases. I'm not a turbo or a diesel guru, but I don't recall one member complaining of a egt. probe snapping off and grenading the turbo. Just my $. 02.
