Paid $3000 for my D350 (see sig; 155K) around THanksgiving. Got new tires, and a few little things. Not pretty. right fender is loose, but stays on. But it gets 20+ mpg empty, and will pull 21K GCVW up a hill in 4th at 60. Could ride smoother, but it is a C&C, so luxury is not in its design.

Paid $4300 for the 92 W250 summer 2001 with 225K. Now has 245K

93 CC 250 LE paid 10.5K

Bought my 93 LE 4x4 for my 02' XMAS present. a spotless southern cal truck with 81k miles, 10k in upgrades, camper top, overhead custom rack, national spring packs, ranchos, 84 gal custom stainless H2O tank, 30 gal flow-tranfer fuel tank, pac-brake, hd exhaust springs, banks quickspool turbo and getrag... ...

To improve ride quality I have added bilsteins 7100's and increased front shackle length...

have PODs ready to install...

First driving impression was like driving a freight train w/o any cars... . no regrets!

rbalcom,

Please tell me about the 7100's. How much, what valving, how do you like them, etc?

I would really like to add bilsteins, but they are not available in the 5100 series. I have been debating the 7100's so I would love to get your input.

I agree, you should'a bought it!

Geneseo, Illinois, was sitting along Chicago St. (west side of road)across from a NG pumping station. From the pictures it looks exactly the same as the one I looked at. Had the lights on the top of the bumper like yours. How do you like it? Main reason I didn't get it was that I was looking Ex. cab and my back didn't like the stiff ride. Other than that I would have bought it. Really impressed with it. My '97 rides better than the '02 1500 w/5. 9L V-8 that my boss' grandpa has.

I know its been six years ago , but I paid $14500. 00 for mine back then with 60,000 miles on it . It looks the same as it did back then except for the fog lights (front & rear and the grill guard) and all the mods under the hood that I have done that most folks dont know about and it now has 133,000 miles on it. I have people all the time come up to me when I am out and about and tell me that truck sure looks good . Then they will ask me how long have you had it and what did you pay for it . There has been several people tell me after I tell them what I paid for it , I'll give ya $14500. 00 for it and I always say~~~~~ NO THANKS !!!!!(I know that it was worth more when I bought it and there is a reason why I got it for $14,5 and why it has all the aftermarket accessories and the custom paint job on it , but it would take me all night to type the story)

Yep, it is the same truck. He mentioned that he had it sitting at his son's house for a while. It does ride rough, but I am getting used to that. I will be replacing springs and shock this year somtime. I am very happy with it!

Glad it's as good as I was thinking it was. Are you getting anywhere the 19mpg. he was claiming? It was at his son's house when I test drove it. Rough riding trucks never used to bug me, but that's no the case anymore. On my '97, there are only 2 things I don't like about it, the transmission and the steering. Thinking about getting a ATS w/ Triple-loc T/C, and need to adjust the steering box to take out the freeplay. Other than that I'm all :D here.

I hate to tell you what I gave for mine. I bought it 4. 5 years ago.

I payed 13k for it. At that time around here they were getting 18k plus for them. If you could find a W350.

93 W350 with duals, LE package with captains seats and console, auto, 92K on the clock. no rust or dents.

It needed a front brake job.

It had the wrong rear axle. Which I also found out later had a very nice bend in it also.

Paid $10750 in Sept '01 for my '93 W350 extended cab - had fresh paint, real straight body and excellent interior. No rust at all. I saw some cheaper, but they had been beaten to death. Had 125K on it at purchase . . .

In the first part of December... I bought a 92 reg cab 4x4 with a getrag. . 150k on the clock clean had just been painted paid 6,000 plus tax etc... the only problem with it was the transfercase had a bad rear bearing and loose output yoke... Made it vibrate over 60mph...

Now after 2 years of looking this is the cleanest one I have found that wasn't over 10k or had been beaten on bad...

Good luck if you are looking they are out there but very hard to find and when they come up for sale the sell fast... Ray ...

I paid $5000. 00 for my 92, good brakes,no major dents,new

high quality clear coat paint job,all options work for now,

needs TPS?, belt squeaks, needs new carpet and one piece of

molding.

My son just traded a $200 car for a really beat 89 D350 CTD.

He got it for the engine/drivetrain/harness,etc. Its going into an S-10 someday... . when he finds one.

Engine runs well, sounds a little tired perhaps... 279K ? on odometer... but it had an engine powered welder at one time so it's got some hours on it in addition. Getrag seems ok.

Frame has been extended too... . no bed on it.

Mine? 1993 W-350 Ext Cab, Auto, Loaded (as per say) with 35000 original miles, no major rust and with a nice topper and great tires. $13000. 00 in April '03. Love EVERYTHING about it! I think most of the "issues" are from sitting in the driveway of the older gentleman that bought it new! I'm sure I'm a bit nuts to pay that much, but this truck should last a VERY long time for me, and it will be MINE (not the bank's) in a few years. For me... This is what I wanted and waited for. I've seen a few W-350's recently go for the same and more(including one in CO. with 55,000 original miles+nice camper for $21000. 00  ). I don't regret anything about buying this truck, at all. Just my $. 02.

i was GIVEN my "first" in september. it had been sitting outside since around november of 02. the specs are below. it had a broken left rear spring. 4 spd man, no air. a nice utility box on the back. worst sheet metal was on top of the cab over the windshield. rotted out on pass side. doors and rockers perfect. when i went to see it, the battery was still up. the tires were 4" down in the mud. i got in, pushed in the clutch and cranked not even 1 second and it fired right up - no miss. eased it forward in low and said "i'll take it!!!" the guy just wanted it out of the yard to get ready for his holiday picnic. i drove it out with the broken spring and eased it over to my shop. removed the utility body and replaced both rear springs. cleaned the interior and changed oil. replaced the parking brake cables and undercoated the frame. i owned it less than one month but actually only drove it one full day and it was sold. i was so impressed with the cummins engine, i decided i had to have another one, so i ordered the new one, also listed below. i sold the truck for 2500 and the guy i sold it to absolutely loves it!!!. he has been offered 5500 for it and has turned it down.

before this truck, i never had a desire to own a pickup, but now i cant wait to get the new one and do some driving.

i have worked on cummins engines in bigger trucks all my life, Ford F700's, 800's, kenworths and such, but never realized how lucky dodge was to be getting these engines. i have also worked on all the power stroke engines from the international gen 1 on up. they are all OK, but just dont have the "quality" sound of the cummins.

i am hooked now. :p

Paid $11k for my trailer-tower in 2000.

Then it paid me; two trips to Alaska, two to Florida, one to Newfoundland.

It's old and ugly, just like me. I love it.
