I was also undecided, but I like the Westach electric gauge. Don't want to take a chance with mechanical gauge in cab. From what I saw on this forum, any gauge, not installed properly, will not be accurate. As long as the sending unit for the Westach is NOT mounted on the engine, it should be a reliable package. I got mine from Geno's Garage, along with the bracket and 30" hose. I change oil every 3000 miles and replace fuel filter every other oil change. If you install your gauge on the clean side and replace fuel filter at the same time, you will have baseline readings with the new filter. I don't see a big need for two gauges for this reason. To me, two gauges mean twice the expense, twice the installation, and double the chance for problems.
