Good for the owner, hope those *&^(&( suffer a long recovery. The sad part is the owner will probably be the one to pay. At least it is in Arizona, maybe he has a chance. Out here in Comiefornia, you would end up paying for their kids to go to college and their crack wh()%e wives to stay at home and have more kids. I answered the poll, and 86% of the people dont think he should face charges. It should be 100%. If people rob you it should be open season on them.

I voted "No" - as to whether or not the Hummer/business owner should be prosecuted.



The theifs are lucky he didn't shoot them.....

I believe citizens should be allowed to use whatever means they have to protect themselves, their families and property from criminals as long as there's no doubt the suspect is guilty and no innocent people get hurt.

Though I am a firm believer in the notion that all lawbreakers, particularly the violent type. be made to pay dearly for their transgressions, in this case the co-owner is in trouble. He was not in harm's way when he dropped the Hummer on the bad guys.



I'm sorry but this is vigilante justice. If justice truly was the goal of our judicial system, the guy would walk. But he won't.

Well, they did use the threat of deadly force. It would be right if he didn't get sued but, unfortunately, he probably will. It might be better if he'd killed them all, no one to sue.



Of course, he might be able to countersue for the stress he suffered while they pointed guns at him (sideways) and threatened to kill him.

I am not trying to get flamed or upset anyone, but vigilante justice is what kept most people from wanting to do something stupid, like robbing other people. Think about it. Would you walk into someones place to rob them if you knew that they had a shot gun and were more than willing to defend themselves? I know I wouldn't risk my life. Crime rates are higher nowadays because the government and the system has too many loop holes that allow the ones that belong behind bars to be set free and allowed to sue people that should have the right to defend themselves

These guys had fled the scene, and "Joe-Shop-Owner" chased them down, becoming the agressor.



If you "Kill them all", their families will sue you in civil court.

If I was in the jury- I think I would let those criminals win-----Dont flame yet--Award each of them ONE dollar. They can pay for thier medical from thier previously ill gotten gains. And they can never sue about that matter again- they WON

Well, say what you want, but I still say that if you knew that man was going to run you down, crush your car and possibly kill you, would you try to rob him? I sure wouldn't.



I have a friend that has done plenty of time for robberies. He will tell you first hand that they mostly prey on areas where they feel no threat. He would only rob a business while they were closed. He would never enter a persons house for the simple fact that he didn't know what was around the corner. You could walk around a wall and be faced with a shot gun. Not too many thieves want to be confronted by someone will to take back what is righfully theirs. Remember most thiefs are cowards.
