Missing from PO. :(
Apologies for the slightly blurred picture.
1996 Ram 2500. Chrysler part # 4429806
This spacer was used back in 1st Gen vehicles as well. I keep finding "Product Not Available" and "Discontinued" across multiple sites such as factorychryslerparts.com & moparpartsgiant.com.

I need to make my own. How thick are these spacers? Book says there are two. I can guess where one of them goes, but it'd sure be nice to have confirmation as to where they both go! Do you know?

Thank you.

Couldn't you just just some washers? I think that would be the simple answer to problem. Take a feeler gauge to find what gap is, add a few thousands and match up or turn some on a lathe if possible. JM2C.

I like the washer idea. Estimating the proper thickness with feeler gauges is my last resort, for I'd feel more comfortable knowing what the specs are.

Cummins number on them is 3911806. No mention of what size they are.

You're lucky, most times when they get left out it breaks the flange on the vacuum pump.

Found this post on CF from 2019.

Just got off the phone with Pete Gould of Gould Gear and Electric. Absolute expert on the vacuum and PS pump setup. He knew the size off the top of his head. The spacer is 10mm. He says OD 19mm. ID 10.2mm

In some PM's with Tom, I've discovered that the '95 was the last year to use the spacers. My truck was a '95 and it had them. Tom sent me his '96 ESN and it doesn't take the spacers.

Thank you much, BigPapa!

I became concerned when I saw that the nuts weren't flush with the VP adapter. (Those nuts in the pic are hand tight.) The VP adapter does sit flush against the PS pump.
The parts diagram pdf I viewed is the "1994-96 Truck Parts Catalog". It did not differentiate between years in section 5-710, so I posted thinking I had trouble.

Now that I know, I'll cinch those hex nuts down to 18 ftlbs. Thanks again!

In my stash of spare parts I have a PS pump/Vacuum pump from a '96. The PS pump does not have that little step that is shown in the picture. My thought is somewhere along the line the PS pump was replaced by one from a '95 or earlier. If it were mine I would add a washer to make sure the pumps are aligned.
