PTO?

other than using a pto connection on tractors, i've not experienced any other pto applications, especially on pickup trucks. i'm pretty sure the pto is used on snow plows but what are some other types of pto work and can you use either the transmission or transfer case or do you have to have both?

Rezrocket,was under my 01 the other day putting on my 4"jardine exhaust #ad
and noticed an outlett for a pto on both the transmission and the transfer case as well,I think only the hd transfer case has this,I think mine is a 241 hd Kevin
