well I went to a second dealer for an alignment and after moving the tires around and they said the alignment was off (where the first dealer said it was fine) they got the truck to act almost like it should. BUT after a few 100 miles the steering wheel was getting slightly off center then all the sudden after a few miles it was way off center. Stop the truck and get out guess what the drag link(??) the two big nuts and the rod coupling that is after the steering box is looses as a goose. Yup the two locker nuts we just free spinning in the breeze. At this point I'm really really mad. So I tighten ever thing back up (on the side of the road) with a pair of big channel locks and slowly continue home. Needless to say I filled out my ram dealer repair survey with a bunch of zeros and a call again to Ram customer service. The truck goes back to the second dealer on Tuesday this will be the 5th time total for steering problems. Anyone have any dealings with Ram's second level of customer service? Like how much can they really do for me? Lemon law in new your is can't fix the same problem after 4 times would or could be a lemon. HELP

I saw once a dealership, disconnected a brake cailber, and the pulling to the right stopped, they found one of the piston's was not releasing.

well here is how the story ends. Dodge could not fix the truck from pulling right. I had to resort to the Lemon Law, and to make a long story short I got back the full purchase price of the truck. Tomorrow I am picking up my new Nissan Titan XD pro 4x.

the trucks are aligned without regard to the road crown.. A good front end shop could have done it.. I don't understand how you get a Lemon Law and then buy a Nissan..... Maybe thats what you should have got to begin with... Good to use for a trash truck but not a hauler...

Years ago I purchased a new 1995 Dodge Ram 2500 4X4 Club Cab CTD. It would pull to the right from day one. Chrysler tried for 10 months to fix it. Finally they bought it back and put me in a new 1996. After a couple years (the warranty was out) it started to have the same problem. A private shop lubed the pins in the calipers and the problem went away. Every couple of years I would have to do this as the pull problem would resurface. The calipers were changed a couple times also. I kept the truck for 20 years. In July of this year I found a 2007.5 2500 4X4 Mega Cab CTD with only 27,000 miles on it to replace it with. It tracks straight as an arrow. The modifications have begun!

Currently having same issue with my 2016 3500. At 3000 miles it was wearing out the right front. Dealer said it was out of alignment and corrected. Ride home was the same pull to right plus steering wheel turned to left. Service manager would not rotate tires, said to continue driving it. At 5000 miles back to dealer with wore out right front and left starting to wear fast. Dealer said alignment within spec and blamed the Nexen tires. Said it was 2nd truck that week with same problem. They called Ram with no positive result. Was instructed to rotate tires and re-evaluate in 3k miles. Obviously not happy I called the Dodge complaint line with similar **** poor results. They offered two years free oil changes and instructed for me at my expense to purchase two new front tires and re-evaluate in 3k miles. If problem continues they would bump up to the next level what ever that is. Very sad experiences considering the money I paid. Not seeing much hope I plan to take it to an independent tire shop for an alignment and save up for 7 quality new tires. One thing to consider is regardless of my dealers comments of their alignment rack being new and top of the line I noticed it's to short for them roll it while calibrate the rack. If they roll it more then 6" it's off the rack. Mine is a crew cab long bed dually. The shop I'm looking into has a larger alignment rack.

TOO much toe!!! Take it back and tell them to set to 1/32. My 15 was over 1/4.

Agreed...the tire wear can likely be fixed with proper toe, and the pulling can be fixed with an offset ball joint.

Of course this requires an alignment tech that really knows what he is doing, beyond the machine telling him it is "within spec" or "in the green".

2016 Ram 2500 pulls to the right

My truck does the same thing. 4 trips to dealership, 2 alignments, rotated tires, tried tires from a new truck on the lot and now they say it's the crown in the road. The problem is if you let go of the wheel you are going in the ditch. My 07 Durango And 07 wrangler JK drive straight on the same roads!!

I had to lemon law my 1995 Cummins for the same issue. Pulled right all the time. They couldn't fix it so I pursued a lemon law and got it. Now I make sure to take long test drives of the actual truck I'm looking at buying to try and detect any of these kind of deficiencies.

My 95 Dodge 2500 4x4 CTD also had a right front brake pull. After 10 months and many trips to the shop Chrysler bought it back and put me in a 96 Dodge 2500 4x4 CTD. I kept it for 20 yrs. With mixed emotions I sold it in July and bought a 07.5 Dodge 2500 4x4 mega cab with only 27,000 on it. Very pleased with it. The dealer thought they could fix the 95 but Chrysler would not approve the parts and the dealer would have to cover the cost. So I got another truck! A very stupid way to solve the issue but it all worked out for my benifit and it cost Chrysler a lot of money.

mine pulls to the right as well. took the truck to two different dealers, and one independent big truck shop. still have the same problem. saddens me that I spent a huge amount of money on my first ram and diesel and have this ongoing problem.
