Pump Parts????

One of my guys rebuilt an old pump and has a small washer with a hex hole in it left over. I dont feel like taking a good pump apart to figure out where it goes. Anybody have an idea.

Well, after reading that and thinking for about two seconds, I can say I have not seen that item. It's a VE pump, right?



If so, I'd have to think abit longer and maybe look in my notes, book.



Not all the items in the pump seal kit will be used. Could it be from the seal kit and NOT from ther pump?

No its not a part of the seal kit. It has wear marks as if it was behind something that spins.



And yes it a VE.

Hex hole in the I. D. and it is against something that spins... ... ... ... ... ... .

What is it made from/what color etc. ????

is it possibly the washer behind the gov weights?

There is a shaft washer in there (behind the gov) that is square, but has a round hole.

Where is the best place to get a shutdown solenoid?

There is a guy on e-bay selling them for about $30. Sorry, I don't have a link. If you search on here, I know there is one, been posted a few times.
