Purchasing Filters

Has anyone tried other places online to purchase filters. Genos was not the cheapest, and other Mopar parts places have them for less. Just so everyone knows Genos catalog price is now incorrect for the '10-11's. Thanks

I used to get them dirt cheap in vegas, when my father in law ran a truck co... . they had the biggest acct with cummins... ..... air filters were like 5$, oil like 4$..... those days are long gone..... but I can still get a decent price at the same place... #@$%!

Thanks, I'm doing some research on the shipping, too see if they're viable. Same idea as yours though.

I am lucky to live nearby a Cummins Factory repair shop in Hubbard OH. I get my Fleet Guard oil and fuel filters cheaper locally than online or Geno's AND there is no shipping charge. Also... Mag Hytech transmission pans and differentials are available online with same prices as Geno's but with free shipping. I plan to ask Geno's if they would drop the shipping charges if I bought my Mag Tech items from them instead of their competitors. Not ready to buy yet but will post their answer. I would rather keep the money 'in the TDR family' if possible.

For me, my dealer has been the cheapest. I Get 10% off all parts, out the door or in the service department.

Cummins-Atlantic has really good filter prices, especially for the Fass pump filters. Several locations up and down the Eastern US.

Walmart carries factory Chrysler/Cummins oil filter if they would just put them out on the shelf. Dallas Walmarts had them out on the shelf. Couldn't find a single one in Austin. Three months later there were 20 of them in the clearance isle for $7

Thanks for the tip LD! I will inquire at the local wally world. Ya never know... they just might have them. Seeing 20 of them sitting there for $7... wow... would have bought them all at that price. Looks like the locals dont know what they are maybe?
