If changing the coils springs doesn't work out, I second the vote for Timbrens. They only come into play once a heavier weight is on the front end. Without the plow mounted you have your original spring rate. Worked great on my last truck- GMC 2500 w/8. 1L and a 9' Fisher MM2.



Just a thought. - and they are pretty easy bolt on too.

Go to summitracing and type in d25 in the search, and they will come up.
 
I do not have my plow yet but i installed the kelderman front kit tee'd the line together and put the schraeder valve in line took 2 hours to install and you set the height where you need it it replaced the factory spring all together.
