If changing the coils springs doesn't work out, I second the vote for Timbrens. They only come into play once a heavier weight is on the front end. Without the plow mounted you have your original spring rate. Worked great on my last truck- GMC 2500 w/8. 1L and a 9' Fisher MM2.
