When I got home from work yesterday, the bars that I ordered were on my sidewalk--115 lbs! We got the wheel to wheel 4" bars.

They installed easy enough and look great! It makes getting in and out of the truck SO much easier. What's amazing to me is that the mounting points on the truck can actually support that much weight. The metal looks so thin.

Anyway, I love the look and would recommend them to anyone in the market.

I also recently checked on that site, I could not find where they sold Putco Boss Bars. I just ordered a set for my dually, they are due in on 08-02-04. First time order thru this source so I'll have to wait and see how it goes. The Putco bars are undoubtedly very well made and from fine materials, so they are winners no matter which ones you go with. I really wasn't looking to buy, I had looked over a few adds at time, but thats what happens when you stay to long on the web. Actually I was kind of waiting for Hog Performance to come out with their new line of large SS bars, but they will not have any for my year for a while. Went on and sprung for the Putco skins bed caps and new stainless guards at both ends. I went with the no holes type, maybe I should have gotten ones with the stake pocket holes and installed some of those pop up tie-downs?? I always liked the rails on the bed top, but my gooseneck trailer only has 5-6 inches of room now, can't afford to lose 3 more.

Don't listen to "X" in another week or so he will be selling his rig, bombing, or looking for love in all the wrong places.

I have Putco bars and am very happy with them. Only 4' bars on the market that I am aware of. I had mine bead blasted and powder coated to match the lower portion of my rockers.

Yeah, a little pricey, but you get what you pay for. That's why I bought the Dodge in the first place.
