Big Event in Greeley August 26th and 27th!!

Minneapolis! University (around)

Hello all.

I need a pyrometer installed locally.

I have everything I need, just have to find someone to do the work. (I know, I know: do it myself--not an option for me).

Can anyone recommend a very meticulous shop/installer in the Twin Cities area?

Thanks all.

Hmmmm... ...

I just moved into the area, and am working up in Arden Hills. I may just have to give them a call.

And tell them to fire their webmaster.

That has to be one of the world's all time most poorly designed sites I've ever had the misfortune to visit.

Now now now, I can't fire my daughter, well maybe I can. There is a reason the site looks like that, it is not done, and many product pages are waiting to be loaded up. I know there is not a lot of info in there right now, but I am swamped with work and some personal things going on in my life. So please bear with the site until I get it back together right. Ya and the music has to go... ... ... . but I can't just fire her... ... ... . lol. She was trying to show me how much she has learned in College... ..... guess I should have sent her to another school. Later Jim.

I think the page looks kinda neat... . but I'm sure for Dial-up users it has to be torture.

Anything you guys need, let us know!

Ya I saw it on dial up, it is very chopy, and doesnt flow, that is why I have to get the other pages in, that way you will link out of it..... and all will be cool again... ..... :D

On a more serious note... .

STOP THE FLASH!

Really.

I don't need to see nifty flowing graphics. What I do need to see is what you have to offer. And frankly, even on a 1. 8kbps DSL circuit, I gave up. And I'm not interested in listening to your music, either. I like listening to mine, and don't force it on you. Yes, I know there's a button to turn it off. It shows up rather significantly after I sit through the opening animation and the track starts.

Your daughter does what a lot of folks do. And just because you can do a thing doesn't mean you SHOULD do a thing. The idea is to showcase Triple D Performance. It shouldn't be showcasing her web design and graphics skills. Animations are all well and good to show stuff in motion. But the backdrops and pages simply are an annoyance. On a high speed link, these pages should just pop onto the screen. There is no value in making the client wait for the page to do some on a completely artificial basis.

I spent far more time than necessary just to see a paragraph telling me Triple D does, and who it gets product from. And watching a white polygon grow and sprawl. And the text fade up from the background. I have no desire to see that. Just show me what you do. If you have something that needs motion, such as an animated injection pump (to show how it work,) that's a good thing.

I just timed the "About us" page. Roughly 8-9 seconds to display. For *VERY* little content. My impression is that every page is taking about the same time.

And another pointer... ... Just as a test, I reloaded the page (looking at the products page. ) And was forced to sit through the complete opening animation. Bad idea.

I'm not trying to be offensive, sir. But your website is the very epitome of poor design. And while it may not be your design, it *DOES* reflect on your business. Quite frankly, the only reason I'd even consider doing business at this point with TripleD is because you *ARE* paying attention.

Thats OK, I don't care about my web site that much anyway... ..... paying attention? I have one huge cliental and a great repour with my vendors and customers... ... ... ..... guess I am not worried about what one person thinks... ... ..... later Jim. BTW I was in this business long before I had a web site, it reflects nothing... ... ... . actually the site should just have my phone number and address on it... ... ... . saves me the hassel of filling shopping carts from online orders... ... ..... because we are swamped right now and I don't have time to always cater to keyboard critics... ..... in your own words for the advice... ... ... "Bad Idea".
