unfortunately, the website is giving you the towing and payload capacities for the single wheel vehicles - not the duallies (which is what I believe you were asking about). Since I couldn't get that information ,I am going on what I knew from the earlier MC duallies - the GCWR was the same for both eht QC and the MC, but the GVWR was 1700 # higher (and the payload is also approx 1700# higher) for the Quab Cab versus the Megacab.
Anybody got the latest '08 figures?
I looked at a MC DRW to get a little more room than my QC, but I couldn't give up the payload. My CC has about a 2700# pin weight (and when there are 5 of us, that'd put us way over the GVWR of our truck).
As for the answer to your question, I have no clue why this is. I hope they fix this for '09. I'm really curious what the Megacab Long Bed conversions use for a GVWR? If it's the 10,500 from the MC dually, the payload must only be around 1700-1800 #.
