There are no timing marksWhat you're calling an injection pump is known as a CP3. I believe the CP means Constant Pressure. Just put it in and let it rip. It's not timed. The injectors are electronically fired. In that QSB, is the geartrain in the front or rear of the engine?? If I may ask, Why did you have to replace the housing?
I'll buy that Mike. It's not everyday I see a compressor on a buzzing B, but this is a yard goat (switcher?)
More info. Engine is a 2006, 12 valve head, VP44 pump, mechanical xfer pump indrustrial yard tractor with air comp. Gearcase was OK, customer wanted to replace.
Yes,it' a 12 valve. Definitely a combination of parts I've never seen before. Don't see much indrustrial stuff, though.
Engine serial # is46675107. All Cummins info I have references lining up hashmark on pump gear with O on cam gear. This pump gear has a series of letters corresponding with gear teeth. Don't know which letter to use.
Ok, am working in Houlton today so will dig into this after I get home tonite. See what I can find for you.
Mike.
Much appreciated, thanks.
