I am running 2000 tunes, I found Pulse adjustments cause more of the Surging problems than the ADR program. If Boost scaling is to low, or Pump stretch is to high, same goes with timing. It uses Data from the Data Link, and Map Sensor.
PS: you mean a bad VP tap? If you don't Tap the VP, it just won't ad fuel. And if you set de-fueling to low, you will surge. I have De-fueling set high, as I watch EGT

I found something interesting. I wet into town this last Friday before going to Phoenix and noticed my Autometer boost was reading zero. I looked and the plastic line pulled out of the connector that I drilled and tapped into the intake horn. I just sorta pushed the plastic tub into the feral and it started registering boost again. I had noticed the Autometer and Pulse did not match so much but since it measures boost at different locations did not think anything about it. I bought a 1/8" pipe plug and plugged. Guess what the surge is almost gone. I earlier had a code show voltage disagreement between the MAP and APPS momentary dead pedal and code with service engine light. I changed the MAP and AIT just because did not help and the APPS that did help. makes you wonder if maybe the boost leak perhaps cause that as well. I could have knocked it off when changing the MAP and AIT or who knows for sure when I might have knocked it loose!!
The surge is now so slight can hardly notice it perhaps it will be worse when I tow. Time will tell but for now am satisfied. Again thanks for your offer of help Rick.
Did you know there is a fitting on the back side of the head that has boost pressure, its a plug. All you do is remove it and put your adapter there. that is where I get my boost and metanol signal. Its out of the way also, so you don't wack it easily.

I run Jammer injectors, largest size, I forgot, V or V1 ? I run the 2000G Tune, but keep pump stretch very low as it runs better and smokes less. I also don't keep timing to high.

I am not running the truck as often because this truck just does not do well in mud, snow or ice. I just purchased a Batteryminder to keep batteries up while sitting. Quest this thing used a high frequency to dissolve battery sulfates. Will this adversely effect the Adrenaline, ECM or PCM? I have a feeling a lot are using this without a problem but do not know for sure.
Any new info on the custom tunes? I have a buddy--the local diesel tech that just got the Adrenaline for his 01 and is interested in info on what people are running. Local race is in a couple of weeks and he want's to run well.
I'm a 3rd gen guy and not sure exactly what he's needing. He said he was told that there was a thread with custom tuning parameters listed here on TDR. I just read 36 pages here after using the search and didn't get any #'s.
