So what's wrong with a T-Shirt diaper for an air filter?

I bought a TK1000 Torque King 5th gear kit a while back and was impressed with the concept, quality and completeness of the kit. I finally got around to installing the kit a couple of weeks ago and was also impressed with Dan's customer service when I called him twice. One of those times I called him after hours and he called me back well after business hours.

Not affiliated with Quad4x4, just impressed with his top notch products and support.

I have used Quad 4X4 parts and installation tools also! Dan is excellent to work with, even helping out with issues that only a clown, like me, gets themselves into:-laf. GregH

How are the sealed ball joints which you bought diferrent then the oem bjs that came off the truck?? Are they an upgrade, or simply a replacement kit?? Thanks

It's been a couple years so there may be better ones out now but back then, the guy at Quad 4x4 told me nothing he's tried seem to last any longer than the oem's so if he was me, he'd just buy the oem's instead of paying more for something else that will only last about as long. Again, there may be better ones out by now.

I have to give them a thumbs up also, I bought there greaseable Ball Joints, and install tools, very high quality parts, and great service, and the instructions were great.

Continued great customer service by Torque King 4x4

Just to echo what others have said here, I just had a superb experience with Torque King 4x4 in Billings, MT (http://www.quad4x4.com/)

I ordered up some front driveshaft (to diff flange) bolts for my truck (in my .sig) to get rid of the dumbass stock torx bolts. I found out that one of the new bolts had a different sized head that the other 3. They were all the correct length and thread, I just had to crawl out from under my truck and fetch another socket to finish the job. (it also slightly bothered my OCD tendencies, but that's another matter)

Anyway, I wrote to the guys there just to let them know one had a different head size. I said it was not a big deal, I just wanted to let them know.

Without me requesting anything, they sent me a whole new package of bolts, a very nice letter personally signed letter, and a gift certificate! This all came in a FedEx envelop today!

Such great support from a well established company is rare in my experience. I'm absolutely going to use my gift certificate and I'll be looking to these guys first when I need stuff that they carry.

(Disclaimer - I have no affiliation with Torque King at all, although I think it's cool they're in Billings)

I was in Billings for a class last week and also went the the MATE show (Montana Agri Trade Expedition) Jesse was at the Torque King booth and they have a great looking tool they make for taking apart u-joints. I liked how it worked and told him when I got home later this week I would check to see what adapters I would need and order what tools I would need. He said he would honor show prices. Even though after the show. Good people and good tools and parts. I looked at my other post same story 7 1/2 years ago.
