I just went and bought a new one at the dealer and replaced mine, I think it cost $25. Some guys have had good luck cleaning the old one but I tried that and it didn't help much so now I just buy a new one every 18 months or so. Look here IAT info. If you do a search on it you will find alot of information on here, most of the really technical information is probably from 2 years ago or so. There is one thread that had some great detail, try these it must be here somewhere. Marco IAT

You didn't say how much idling is done, Driving in 4 wheel drive or snow plowing you do. But with mine 17-19 mpg. I was told it would get better after 40'000 and it did, it was down around 12-15 mpg. after 50,000 and minor bombs at 2100 rpm and about 75mph she's a HUMMUN about right . Oh yeah 4x4 auto all this is also M-T. More BOMBs to come in do time. Thanks DH
