Any one hear about a product called "XPL POWER AID" . One of my buddies is thinking about trying it. From the brochure he has its an oil additive. Any comment are welcome he's looking for advice and feedback. :)

For me, using good oil (dino or synthetic), and changing it and the filter on a regular basis is all you need. Clean oil is the best thing for an engine. Never was a fan of oil additives. My opinion

I don't think cummins recomends using any additives! we have problems enough between synthetic oil and dino oil, don't go adding anything additional, (ha ha).

The only additive I know of worth menitoning in my book is a product called "Militec-1". I say this because the product has its own national stock number and is used by the Dept. of the Navy/ Marine Corps and I think quite a few other agencies. The product has been extensively tested as a result and apparently they liked it enough to use it in a host of different types of military equipment including as a firearms lubricant/cleaner. They're on the web. Check 'em out
