Got home last night, and had a little time to put the 215 Injectors in I odered from Piers. I had a hell of a time pulling out the old ones, because I didn't have a slide hammer puller. I worked them loose, & by sheer, brute strength, pulled them out of the head with a big pair of vise grips & some penetrating fluid.
Got the new ones put in, took it for a spin, & decided all was good, so came home & went to bed with a smile on my face. This morning, I decided I had time to put in the 3k spring kit I ordered too, and was done by 10am. Took it down the road, & was amazed how much difference they made. The 215 injectors woke it up, but the spring kit set it free. It's more like a corvette now than a 3 ton pick up. I was getting 278 HP to the floor before, I bet we're somewhere in the 3's now. The 230 HP TST plate is slid forward just a tad, and the transmission is still stock at 155k, I can tell you now, it will have to be babied from now on.
