I received my Electric fuel gauge, Vulcan hose, and fittings from Geno's today. After reading the directions a few times I have two questions. And I know you guys will have the answers. I have the 0 - 30 psi electric guage from Westach. And I'll mount it in the cubby hole.

1. Where do I wire the light for 12v? I would like to dim the light if at all possible.

2. Do I need to worry about air in the sending unit, or just bleed the hose and connect them?

Thanks guys.

Dave

You dont need to worry about air in the sender. On connecting to power, so you dont have to cut wires ,on the fuse panel by the drivers door ,find the fuse for the dash lights, my memory is its #8. Go to auto store and get Add A Circuit. Unplug the fude plug in the add a circuit and plug the fuse you removed into the add a circuit . directions for all this come with it. Hope this helps.

not sure of the interior differences from my 99 w/ 5 speed, but I just dropped the light wire down to the cubby hole light and tapped into that. that way it dimmed with the rest of the dash lights

Thanks FourBarR. The directons only says to connect to cigarette lighter for power. Didn't know if there was a better or easier way.

Pavemen - The 2002 dosn't have the light in the cubby. I think my 96 did.

THoltz I will post my readings as I have had to replease 2 VP's.
